My 100 Favourite Fictional Females - Part Two  
Happy Birthday crickets! I hope you had a great birthday weekend. All the best in the next year.♥

Does anyone feel like October was just yesterday? Seriously, how could it almost be December? November just feels like a month of lost time. There is so much to do before 2010. For example, the only thing I've done to get organized for Christmas is to ask for cards from you guys. So if anyone else is interested in a holiday card, make me feel organized and let me know here.

Onto more of my 100 favourite fictional females. This group could technically be called 'the bad girls', but that would be trite. They do bad things, yes, but there are complicated ethics and morals involved in each of their cases. They want things - respect, power, admiration, control, love, revenge, or simply a choice. They rarely win, but they will be remembered. They are my complex, disastrous, trying, scary and crafty ladies.

Yay! Still loving this list. I know all these ones apart from the Ugly Betty character. These are my favourite Bad(ish) Girls too. I love that you picked Boomer! Her last line kind of breaks my heart. And Snoop. Gotta love Snoop for making cold-blooded evil hilarious.

BTW, you've listed Abigail Williams twice. Hey, she is so crazy awesome she is worth listing twice! But just so you know...

I didn't want to put Boomer here, because she is not evil like some of these other ladies. But she did not fit in my other categories, which is kind of sad. I guess I needed a "How the my creators messed with my heada" category. Also, BSG is the only property where I broke my limit of selecting only two ladies. I have two others from BSG, and could have gone on and on with them.

I don't find Boomer evil either. She was forced into a villain's role and all her attempts to fight it were no use. That's what made her final 'choice' more heartbreaking, because she recieved no understanding or forgiveness for it. And she expected none. *cries*

I could list about 10 favourite BSG girls.

O-Ren! Carrie! Annie! Mrs. Danvers!!! These are all great choices. My favorites are probably Carrie and Annie if only because in Kill Bill my heart was all for the Bride while I did really love Carrie as a character and Annie was... eh. From the fangirl's POV I can't help feeling her pain most times, even if her ways aren't exactly what I'd go for. And yay for Nurse Ratched who is deliciously evil. I loved to hate her while watching that movie. And major props for Lady Macbeth who is indeed a great choice.

Never fear, the Bride is going to make the list in my Kick Ass female category. Kill Bill had great female characters. I could have put Vivica A. Fox and Darryl Hannah on here too, but I limited myself to two characters per property.

I agree, Annie's pain is sympathetic.

No, I haven't. I'm enjoying her in a supporting role in Six Feet Under Right now. I also think she is great in About Schmidt.

I haven't seen either of those. I did see her in the Annie remake, but like most remakes, it's not as good as the original.

By the way, shouldn't Carrie White be listed as being from Carrie? ;)

Oooooh, fantastic list! Nurse Ratched is probably one of the scariest villains I've ever seen on film.

Ooh, the "bad girls" post--so much fun! Annie & Nurse Ratched are absolutely terrifying--both the actresses who play them in the film versions really got it right, in my opinion (though they both seem just lovely in real life--maybe that's why it's so scary!)

And oh, I love The Crucible. Abby is so brilliant and evil and manipulative--teenage girl from hell ;) It's actually a dream of mine to play Elizabeth Proctor, though--I really love that character too :)
